FREE Exploitation Awareness Training for licensed taxi & private hire drivers

The RideSafe Project is committed to creating positive change by connecting the taxi and private hire industry with local businesses, community organisations and charities. Our aim is to support professional drivers who go above and beyond every day to ensure their passengers really can RideSafe.
In partnership with The Safe and Sound Group, Derby, we are pleased to offer this FREE Exploitation Awareness Training for licensed taxi and private hire drivers.
Taxi and private hire drivers are often described as the eyes and ears of the city. This training will help drivers recognise the signs of child and adult exploitation, understand what to do if they have concerns and know how to report them appropriately.
By increasing awareness and confidence, drivers can play an important role in helping to safeguard vulnerable people within our communities.

This FREE event is open to licensed taxi and private hire drivers working in and around Derby.
The session will be delivered by The Safe and Sound Group and will provide practical guidance, real-life insight and additional skills to help drivers identify concerns, respond appropriately and understand the support available.
