RideSafe | Community transport funding
RideSafe
Because no charity should have to choose between helping someone and paying for the taxi.
A community transport funding initiative helping charity led projects cover the cost of essential travel for vulnerable people.
Removing one simple but critical barrier: the cost of getting someone safely where they need to be.
The Problem
Every day, charities and safeguarding organisations face an unavoidable cost: transport. Not optional travel, essential journeys.
• A child escaping an unsafe situation
• A young person reaching emergency accommodation
• Someone accessing mental health or recovery support
• Transport to youth and community services
These journeys are essential. The cost attached to them is the pressure point.
Why RideSafe Exists
RideSafe exists because transport should never be the reason someone misses safety, support or opportunity.
Sometimes help is already available, but the journey isn’t.
What RideSafe Is
RideSafe is a community transport funding initiative developed and administered by Sendacar LTD in partnership with charities, safeguarding organisations and community groups.
We are not a transport provider.
We fund essential journeys arranged by charities through licensed transport providers of their choice.
In simple terms:
Charities provide support
Charities arrange the journey
RideSafe funds the cost
How It Works
RideSafe is a dedicated funding pool for essential safeguarding-related transport.
- • Corporate sponsorship and donations fund the project

- • Travel is delivered through licensed providers
Charities remain fully in control of safeguarding decisions and operations.
