Our Mission
RideSafe was launched to make licensed transport safer, more accessible and more trusted for everyone. We believe that every journey should provide not only a means of travel, but also an opportunity to protect, support and connect people when they need it most.
Too often, the biggest barrier to solving real problems isn’t a lack of ideas, it’s bureaucracy. Good intentions become tied up in process, while the people who need help are left waiting. RideSafe was founded on a simple belief: sometimes you have to strip away the red tape and just make things happen. By bringing together local business and transport providers, charities, corporations, venues and community organisations, we focus on practical solutions that deliver real outcomes, not just good intentions.
Our mission is delivered through three core programmes:
Charity travel support
Helping charities and the people they support overcome transport barriers through funded travel solutions. By connecting corporate partners with frontline organisations, we enable safe, reliable journeys that improve access to services, opportunities and essential support.
RescueRides
Providing a trusted pathway to safety for people in vulnerable situations. Working alongside existing safeguarding initiatives, RescueRides gives venues and community partners a simple, practical way to help individuals leave unsafe situations and reach a place of safety.
RideSafe driver accreditation
Recognising drivers who go beyond minimum licensing standards by demonstrating excellence in safeguarding, professionalism and passenger care. Through enhanced training and accreditation, we are building a recognised standard that gives passengers greater confidence in every journey.
Together, these three programmes are creating a transport network that is safer, more inclusive and better equipped to support communities. Because making a difference shouldn’t be complicated it should simply be about people working together to do the right thing.
